As parents, we have all experienced some type of bullying during our lifetime. Needless to say, none of this behavior is enjoyed, and it often produces broken adults. Bullying at school is not necessarily the same as it was when we were growing up. Our students likely face more damaging issues than what we encountered thanks to social media.

Because of the unlimited access through technology and social media, our children/students are open to many more opportunities to bully someone or to experience being bullied themselves. Not only are they being harassed at school, but now that experience is not limited to inside the school zone, but also happens at home through texting, posting to social pages, photographs, and face-to-face abuse. This causes our children extreme stress and anxiety to a level we haven't seen previously. Luckily we have the ability to put a stop to it!
